There is this associate of mine who has an attitude against EVERYONE in the store. Like literally EVERY SINGLE HUMAN BEING in the store whether it's a customer or a walmart associate it doesn't matter. It's not a pleasant experience having to deal with someone like him. Maybe there is something going on in his private life but I'm not supposed to care about it because I already have my own problems like every other walmart associate and walmart customer.
At first that's what I was thinking but day by day it gets harder to work with someone who is constantly treating you badly for no observable reason.
Those types of people are the worst.
I try to show compassion and empathy but it's very hard to do after some time.
The best way to solve it is to have a sincere talk with him during the lunch break or maybe grab him on your way out when the shift is over to have a drink or something you know. It would mean the world to him believe me and it would certainly solve your problem.
If he agrees tho. I don't think he will.
Kindness is always a good idea just try it and you will see the results
With all due respect nobody is here to babysit someone. I know it might sound ruthless to some people but it's just the way it is. You're a grown up and nobody needs to pay the price for your own problems.
