Mid-shift

Is this the busiest shift? I'd like to apply and put my availability down as 10-8 every day including weekends but I'm a bit worried I'd be getting the worst hours (meaning, the ones when you don't even get the time to take a break) by far in the day. Am I overthinking this?

It can go either way, as it depends on numerous factors. I'd go for the morning if I were you. That's if you don't mind waking up early, of course.

If you don’t have trouble waking up early in the morning don’t do it. The busy periods may vary, but working those hours literally means that you lost your whole day at work.

It’s not the same for every store. It depends on the location and on factors such as: What are the general working hours of the customers in that place, what kind of jobs do they do, what are the habits of people in the region. You will never know until you give it a try.
