I'm not sure about other clubs, but I'm getting tired of doing all the work as a TL while they do absolutely nothing. Pick any time of the day and you won't be able to find a single one of them where they're supposed to be. I've been dealing with this for a full year and I'm about to throw in the towel. If I got rewarded for my work, that would be one thing. But doing their jobs in addition to my own and getting paid the same gets old really quickly.
i worked at Walmart and i paged anged for management to come unlock the compacker. finally someone came i went to find management, shevwas sitting in the managers office sitting in a chair swirling in circles in the chair
I wouldn’t go that far to say that managers are lazy by definition, but if you think about it, the main part of their job description is to tell people what to do. That puts them in a position to delegate some or all of the world that they should be doing on their own to the employees under them. That also creates the situation where it is easier for them to come in late, leave early, play games on their phone etc. The point I’m making is, If a certain person doesn’t have a strong work ethic they become more or less lazy.
we actually have decent management. i still wish some did a bit more but we could have a worse management

I’m also facing similar things at my club, and you’re right, It’s annoying to say the least. Not to mention disrespectful towards the employees. The only problem is that “lazy managers” are everywhere. You “throwing in the towel” might not solve your problem as it is very probable that you will face lazy management at your next job.
