It's not looking good
I've been working at Walmart for the past five years in different positions. I don't know why it is like this at Walmart. It's obviously a terrible choice for job-seeking people. Everybody comes, they stay for a short period without motivation or love for what they do, and then they leave. It's both costly to the person who quits or is fired, and to Walmart, obviously. It's certainly more logical and cheaper to keep the talent in the company and give them opportunities to climb the ladder. There is clearly something wrong with this. I know Walmart is not known for caring about its associates, but that's kind of the culture of corporate America. So that can't be the only reason for this mess. Even though my training was okay five years ago, I hear from recent recruits that it actually su^ks nowadays. Maybe that could be another reason. Anyway, what do you all think?
It's retail, what did you expect? It's always unstable and hectic. The management is always busy meeting some daft targets, and no one has time to stop and think about what would be best in the long run.

they just forgot where they came from. Corporate has them believing that the training is only the TL job, and TL thinks that it is only the other employees job and the employees think that it is management job. they don't understand that if they help train the person properly then everyone's job gets easier. it should be everyone's responsibility!
