I feel sad about this

Today I helped a customer with finding an item that she was looking for and after she found it, she thanked me back on her way to the register. I felt so awkward because it's been a minute since I've heard someone thanking me you know. Then I felt sorry for myself like why don't the people are thanking me? How hard can it be for God's sake? We need to bring back kindness to this world, especially for the walmart store associates who do nothing but work and help people.

One minute people cry about customers being rude the next minute they cry about them being not rude because it makes them feel awkward 😆 the hypocrisy is unfucking real

Nobody said that the customers were supposed to be kind towards Walmart associates. That's just the way it is and you need to get used to it.

The problem is I don't wanna get used to it because I don't know if I should

Yeah, you should. I can guarantee you customers are not going to change any time soon nor they should because they come to Walmart for shopping. Not to give people flowers and smiles.

I know that they don't have to be nice but they also don't have to be complete bi^^hes when we can't fulfill any of their stupid needs.
