I fell for the stereotypes

I started at Walmart a month ago and one thing that stands out to me is that customers aren't half as bad as I was led to believe. I had this image of having to deal with the trashiest of the trashiest people nonstop. That's so not true. About 95 percent of customers here are perfectly normal folks just going about their day. The other five percent are a mess, but they're the minority. It's a pleasant surprise. I thought I'd hate working here because of customers, but that turned out false. I never would have guessed it, but I actually like my job. Go figure.

I’m glad you’re satisfied at your new job and that you caught a break from dealing with assholes, but I can’t agree with such a generalization. How can you make such a comparison? Is the Walmart store that you’re working at now right next door to the store you used to work at? I don’t think so. Maybe you're now at a location where there are fewer complicated customers. Oh, and guess what, customers change at stores over time, so don’t be surprised if you get your share of assholes in a while.

So far, so good right? Please post again here in one year and if you think the same I’ll buy you a beer.
