I remember reading an article last year which mentioned the famous Walton family as one of the top 10 richest families in the world, yet the conditions they make for their associates are terrible. They’re known for paying their workers poorly, offering minimal benefits, and providing them with awful working conditions. How is it fair that the people who are the backbone of their empire are struggling to make ends meet?
It’s so sad that they have the resources to make a positive change but choose not to. It's up to consumers to push for better treatment and hope that better times are coming.

Totally agree with you. The wealth gap in this country is out of control, and Walmart is a prime example of how the rich get richer on the backs of underpaid workers.
