I had an incident yesterday with a customer about my lunch break. I was walking near the self-checkout area, but I was headed to my car to eat. This guy saw me and asked me something about the self-checkout machine, and I told him that I was actually on a lunch break. I said it with like extreme kindness. He got crazy over my answer. He said it was not rocket science to deal with it, it wouldn’t take so much time etc. If it’s not rocket science, why aren’t you doing it yourself, buddy? I’m a human being. I have needs such as lunch break. And when I’m on my lunch break I just don’t want to be bothered, that’s all.
This happened to me when I was smoking in front of the entry. Whatever you do, do not stay in the eyesight of the customers on your lunch break. Well, that’s just my experience anyway.
We had a customer come in strip down na^^d in the middle of the shoe aisle. I was getting ready to start unboxing shoes when I noticed her so I made a turn around. She also had a plastic machine g^n with her but it was on the floor all the time, that made it even more weird. I dont know man, people....
Long time ago we had an overnight associate who decided to toss a hot dog all the way up to the ceiling... the thing landed right on top of one of the old fluorescent lights. hahaha... it stayed up there for many years and we all watched as it was slowly turning into a liquid mess... One day, LED lights arrived and it was time for our hot dog to go... We still miss it. 🤪🤪🤪
