Don’t buy into the bs they’re saying

Guys, don’t believe people who are telling you that this is a company to work for long-term. I’m hearing more and more colleagues telling me they don’t have any other plans other than continuing to work here and it’s honestly sad. This is just an entry-level job for when you’re just starting out to work or it can be also considered as a safe choice when you’re just in need of a stable job. My dear colleagues, please think about your future! Stay safe out there.

I get where you're coming from, Walmart can be a decent place to start, but it's important to have a plan for your future. Although there's nothing wrong with using this job as a stepping stone while you figure out your next move.

I totally understand your concerns, it's really easy to get comfortable in a stable job and get stuck working there for 20+ years.

Worked at Walmart for 6 months, and I never heard someone saying this is the place where they want to spend their next 5 years. Some people stay because they have to, not because they want to.

And some people don't even stay even if they need to because of how terrible the job actually is.
