There is no incentive for an associate bust your a^s for little wage and make team leads and coaches their big thousand dollar bonuses make a big 14.28 an hour
Walmart is the worst I can't complain about the hours. I was hired part-time and worked hard every weekend and holiday, rarely calling off. But I noticed how this company uses you. They would need to schedule more people, and I often had to cover three departments by myself. One year, they forced us to work the holidays, threatening us with two occurrences if we called off. After the holidays were over, did they appreciate our hard work? he^l no. We didn't get a single cent in bonuses. That's when I saw the light and started to hate the company. They were always talking about sales. The Walmart associates were excellent, but some managers were great, while others were terrible. The pay su^ks, not worth the hard work. They push your body to the limit and treat you like cr^p. The customers are often rude, messy, and disrespectful, with kids tearing up the store. Some customers were decent, but most were nasty, mean, and downright evil. Working there was a learning experience. I worked there for five years and didn't like the person I had become – mean, irritable, and unhappy. By the 4th year, the stress became too much. I started calling off often, took a leave, and never returned. It was the best thing I ever did
