Like why is that? Seems like it’s impossible to go further than a coaching position.
It’s not harder than any other big corporation. That’s how they roll. They are in a position to wait and choose the best of the best. So they don’t need to hurry unless they absolutely have to.
Working hard is not enough for a promotion at any big corporate. You'll need good relationships as well.

Because if you work hard at Walmart, instead of a promotion you get more work in the same position. That's why a lot of people are advising to not to work hard that much.

I think it’s much easier to apply for those types of positions if you already have enough experience and the necessary skill set. It’s gonna be really hard and long to climb up the ladder when you start as a team associate. Because trust me, nobody wants to give up their position.
