Walmart is trying to rip you off at every chance they get

Why did noone tell me that Walmart associates get a free WM+ membership? I mean I've been paying for the last six months I've been working here and that's like 80$. They try to squeeze every single dime they can from you even if you're not a customer, but an actual ally of theirs. This is just so disrespectful because I can't even tell how many times I've helped the company not to lose customers because of their stupid policies and even because of the mean people they hire. This one time an associate at my store verbally assaulted a family of four with some racist sh^t and I am the sole reason that family is still shopping at ours up to this day. Maybe I should just start treating them the same way they treat me.

That's so unfair! You’ve been going above and beyond for the company, and they don’t even have the decency to inform you about benefits you’re entitled to? They owe you better.

Exactly! It’s like they don’t even care about their workers. Makes me question if it’s worth staying here.

I feel you. Companies like Walmart don’t prioritize their workers. They just use people and expect them to stay silent. You deserve more respect for everything you’ve done.

That’s why so many people leave retail jobs. There’s no loyalty from the top so why would workers stick around

Why so bitter? Mistakes happen. It’s on you to check what benefits come with the job. Being mad over $80 isn’t worth it.

You’re missing the point. It’s not just about the money it’s the principle of how they treat employees

This seems like an honest mistake. Companies are bad at communicating benefits sometimes, but at least now you know.
