It was supposed to be just a short-term job to help me while I was looking for something else. Somehow, at some point, I just stopped looking for that "something else." I guess I got too comfortable here. It's really not a hard job if you have thick skin and can let things roll off your back. Two years in, and I'm actually not unhappy. Figure that.
yep i was in school this was a temp job school is long over just got my five year pen
Being in your comfort zone can be a dangerous thing. With all due respect, I don’t think anyone’s dream was to become a Walmart associate. Stores are filled with those people that “stopped looking” What will happen now depends only on your own ambitions and your will to pursue them. If your mostly satisfied at your job, well, then there is nothing wrong with staying. If you’re aiming higher, then get out of your comfort zone, or better yet leave. Being out of a job usually pushes people to look even harder. Best of luck whatever happens.
I would look at it another way. If you stopped looking then it’s not all that bad.
