Turned my weakness into my strength

I love to spend my nights awake. And this habit affected my last work in a bad way. I didn’t want to sleep at nights until sunrise, and for this, a lot of times I was late to work. Even if I wasn’t, I didn’t have my best performance when I showed up. As you can imagine, I got fired in the end. It would be fair to say that it wasn’t very professional of me to do this. But anyway, what happened, happened. Can’t change it. But I thought maybe I could change the future and adapt my work to this habit of mine. So I decided to apply for an overnight shift at Walmart. It’s been one of the best decisions of my life. Luckily I have the best coworkers ever, and my manager is really cool too. We have a great time every night. It’s really a blessing how things turned out for me.

Oh boy, it’s the complete opposite for me. I’m planning to change my department because my sleep schedule is in shambles. Happy for you tho.

If you have a nice crew, it’s the best job in Walmart. If you don’t, it can quickly become he^l. I wasn’t a fan of spending all night alone working my a^s off without communicating to any living creature. So I left.

I’m exactly like you and that’s why I applied and got the job a month ago. It’s been shaky for 2 weeks but it’s getting better. It was hard at first because I didn’t know anybody but now, me and my teammates kinda got used to each other. Seeing this post made me hopeful for the future, so thank you 🙂
