I'm a TL. I made a huge mistake of giving my number to my team in case of an emergency. While some folks understand the concept, others seem to think emergency means that you can call me on my day off to ask a question I had already answered several times prior. It's driving me insane. We are understaffed as it is, so I can't afford to lose anybody, but let me tell you that I'm tempted to get rid of a few people over this.
Some ppl are WAAAY to comfortable bruh.
Rookie mistake.
Perhaps you should make it more clear that they shouldn’t call you on your private phone unless “someone is dead”. I’m also a TL; the associates have my private phone number but they don’t call me on my phone. If someone does nd it’s not a real emergency, I make it clear to them they shouldn’t do that. For God’s sake you're a lead, they should do as you say.
Did you consider changing your number?
just block them, you don't even need to explain!!!
