They need to find a solution
People don’t want to work at walmart as a cashier anymore. The maximum number of registers we are able to open is 4 and we are a really big store. So it’s not enough and we get terrible reactions from customers as you can imagine. I mean I know it’s not one of the best jobs at walmart but some people still work in this position and they need to care about us.
Still used by people tho. So it’s not gonna be perfect and someone will have to help customers when they need it.
It’s hard to find people for jobs that require more communication with people than other jobs. So for so many people the best jobs at walmart are the ones that require the least communication with others. Kinda sad, but it’s the truth.
We go from needing robots to becoming robots.
