The lack of products on the online shop

Have you noticed how lately Walmart is being super late with posting new articles on their online shop and how there are a million of products that didn’t even get uploaded in the shop ever? I believe that they have just employed wrong people working on it because it’s obvious it’s being neglected for the past few months. What are your opinions on this?

I work in that section and I can tell you first-handedly that our laziness is not the problem at all. The problem is that Walmart’s software overall is suuuper old and the support for it basically does not exist. The people who made the software are not working here anymore and the new IT guys have no clue about fixing it so we’re basically left all alone regarding this.

Stop blaming others for your wrongdoings. Own your mistakes dude. Use this as fuel to make the customer’s experience better. I can’t withstand people who can’t just own their mistakes, say sorry and move on.

People who buy at Walmart are mostly people who just aren’t used to new technologies and prefer to “feel” the purchases. It’s not anything bad from Walmart, it’s just a business decision they made to swerve their budgets into something else.

ye I totally agree with you. Ik how my dad is really hard to persuade into trying something new, even if it will 100% turn out to be really useful for him. It reminds me of those memes when dad says no to having a dog and then becomes the person who loves him the most.

Someone already said it here and I 100% agree with him. Only a small percentage of Walmart shoppers have computer literacy. It’s just not worth for them to invest in that aspect of their business.
