The lack of car crashes is astounding

It's surprising that with all the close calls we witness at the parking lot each day, there aren't more accidents. At least when it comes to my store. Is it the same for everybody?

I am at Walmart Supercenter #3477, it's in Carson CA (Long Beach area) - anyhow, we get crashes all the time - sometimes people get hurt as well - there is a lot of people who are under influence or just careless, a lot of elderly too, they have hard time seeing things around them. This one is hard to fix as it's really not up to us, I think the lot has been laid out just fine, there is enough space but people have issues and things get weird and dangerous. I've seen a guy driving an F150 very fast between cars and there were kids waiting for their dad to load a passenger car. Crazy. Unacceptable. But that's is the reality.

here is an example, wmt supercenter #5023 Highland thats in national city here in san diego area... it's something so messed and shows you how quick things can go wron, even in a place as normal as a parking lot. like, this guy (you can see the article, his inititals are JM i dont want to put his name here), was just looking for a parking spot after a regular day. he was probably thinking about what he’s gonna have for dinner or something like that - a random day, simple, now he was not knowing he’s about to get s^ot over a minor scratch on a car.,, that's plain wild, nuts...

here is the link: https://fox5sandiego.com/news/national-news/grandfather-fatally-s^ot-after-minor-crash-in-walmart-parking-lot-authorities/

the cops said it was just a small collision, like literally two or three scratches- the guy got out to say sorry... and BAM!!! the other driver just shoots him... that's it. life ended... over somethiing that small. how does someone even get that angry, what a nutcase???

and the saddest part is, everyone who knew this JM guy said he was the kind of guy who’d go out of his way to help anyone. unfair, nuts, crazy. the guy loved cars, worked with cars, and probably would have fixed the lady's car himself if she'd asked. instead, he’s gone, and for what? a parking lot accident? it just doesn’t make any sense but that's 2024, we have all gone bananas. his family and friends are left trying to figure out how to deal with losing him in such a random, senseless way. they caught the lady who did it, and she’s being charged with mu^^^r, but that won’t bring the guy back. it won’t make his family feel any less broken, they are done.

it makes you think, how many other times stuff like this happens that we don’t even hear about? makes you kinda scared of how unpredictable people can be. be safe, and use your head. do not do things that are not predictable, avoid conflict and ignore aggressive
