There is this teenager who’s started working with us as a cashier and we’re having a constant chaos with the register. Walmart has its weird rule that a teenager can’t sell alcohol so whenever there is some alcohol to be scanned the system gets blocked until a manager or TL comes with a key and unlocks it. It’s such an unnecessary rule and only causes long waiting lines.
well they should not put teens to work on a checkout then
It’s a rule for the benefit of our children and I wouldn’t change it for anything. If anything, I wish alcohol was banned!

It is not a stupid Walmart rule, it is a law in most of the USA and it is there for a reason. Why expose young kids to horrible things?
