I walked out of my job a few weeks ago. I tried my best, I really did. I loved being a closer. It's hard work but I enjoyed it very much. If only everyone else did their job, then it wouldn’t have felt like a never-ending battle. For a third time in a row, someone quit and my wonderful TL left me flying solo. This time for days, throughout the whole Easter rush, and of course, by the end of the week I just snapped and quit. It was a spur of the moment thing, especially since I don’t have another job lined up, but I think it will turn out to be the right move. My mental health was taking a hit, and I couldn't keep pretending everything was fine. Wish me luck.
I've been thinking about your situation, and I have a hunch that it all boils down to poor leadership. When you step back and take a good look at it, you can't help but notice that the root of the issue lies in mismanagement. It's not rocket science, just common sense. And honestly, it's frustrating to see how things could've been different with better direction.
bad manager = time to leave

It's great to see you taking care of yourself. Dealing with a rush on your own can be a real pain, especially when people are extra nervous and demanding due to holidays. It's like, come on, folks, have some decency, we're people too. Anyway, prioritizing your health is key, so keep at it and don't let anybody get in the way of your well-being.
