Hello everyone. I have been a Walmart store associate since 2021 and in my 4 years as a Walmart associate, there was always someone that almost everybody relied on. They change from time to time, they come and they go. Sometimes somebody else steps up or they just hire someone else with more experience than other associates and that's just how it goes. Not this time around tho. The "experienced guy" who everybody relied on quit his job 3 weeks ago and they couldn't replace him properly since he left and every day has been chaos since then. This made me realize that (and I can speak only for myself, I'm not blaming any other associate here) the person that I was relying on, made me lazy because I always thought in my head that he knew all the answers, he knew all the process so I don't have to worry about learning it all since he tells me what to do anyway. I was wrong, dead wrong. I feel it the most since he left and that's why starting with me, every Walmart associate needs to step up their game and know their business. Don't rely on someone else, you can't control someone else but you surely can control yourself and your own actions. Believe me, your life as a Walmart associate especially as a Walmart store associate will be a lot easier once you do that. Sending love to all, bye.
