I'm very new to this job because I started delivering 2 weeks ago. 3 days ago I went to this house for delivery, and the customer told me that he didn't have the 4 digit code. I mean I was confident about the accuracy of the address and the guy seemed like he was expecting this delivery. As a result, I gave the order to him but I'm not sure if I did the right thing you know? So what should I do in this kind of situation? Because it was the first time that I ever experienced it but I think it's not gonna be the last.
Wtf?
You should never ever give someone an order who hasn't got the 4 digit code.
Why tho? I was pretty confident that the address was the right one.
It's the rule that Walmart set my friend. If you don't want to get in trouble you should follow it.
If you ever experience something like that again just say nothing and get out of the property. That's the right thing to do.
It seems like you're not in trouble for now but don't take it for granted. You shouldn't be doing what you just did.
Some people don't give the code on purpose.
Why would they do such a thing?
I have no idea but I have seen it a lot of times. Whenever I tell them they can't have the order if they don't provide the code, within a few seconds they give it.
