Pressure and Mandatory Lunch Breaks

"The workload isn't too demanding in terms of difficulty, but there's this constant pressure to get everything done before lunchtime hits. It's like a race against the clock every single night. You'd think that with the overnight shift, things would be a bit more relaxed, but nah, not really. One of the things that really grinds my gears is the mandatory one-hour lunch break. Sure, it sounds great on paper, but when you factor in the fact that the shift itself is nine hours long, that hour feels like an eternity. It's like you're forced to stop in the middle of everything, and then you have to pick up the pace to make sure you're not falling behind. Overall, it's not the worst job out there, but the combination of the pressure and the oddly timed lunch break can really throw you off your game. Just wanted to vent a bit and see if anyone else has experienced something similar in their overnight gigs. Let's commiserate together, folks."
