Please excuse me for not being too social
I don’t like to talk a lot. In fact, I’m even uncomfortable while I’m writing this post. But anyway. I started to work at Walmart a month ago. I work in food & grocery. I don't mind helping people, I just don't like casual chats. It’s just who I am. Yesterday, my boss asked me if everything was ok. To me, it was just another day at work, but he obviously thought something was wrong. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t about my performance because in my humble opinion it’s actually pretty good. He thought I was sick or depressed or something. I want to know if my personality can cause me issues in the long run?

your fine, your management team just cares and is trying to look out for you. If you just explain they will be more understanding. I think its great that they care enough to ask.

There’s nothing wrong with not being talkative. As long as your performance is ok, you should be fine.
