Pizza party

I often read about pizza parties at other stores (usually people are complaining about them, but that's not the issue here) and I keep wondering why that's a thing at some locations and not others. I've been here for over a year and we've had exactly zero pizza parties. Any ideas why that could be the case? Not that I'm desperate for a pizza party, I'm just confused and curious.

It probably has something to do with the budgeting. but you should consider yourself lucky for not having it at your store. I live for the day they ditch those.

We have pizza parties at my store and to tell you the truth I wish we didn’t have them. They are just a forced attempt to socialize with people you don't want to. If I’m friends with someone at work, I go for a drink and a pizza with him after work. If I don’t like someone why should I be forced to socialize with that person.

Why don’t you suggest having a Pizza party to your lead? You’ll either start having pizza parties or zou would be given an answer why they don't have them.
