People are weird
Whenever an associate gets a team lead role their vibe and behaviour change drastically. Honey you're just a team lead at walmart. Don't take yourself too seriously.
It depends on the store and the tasks given team leads. I was a team lead at a small superstore and I didn't notice a change in most when promoted to team lead, however you'll always have that person that let's it go to their head. I transferred to a smaller store , there the team leads were management, typically after 5 there was no coach. The team leads for the most part all act like God's and the associates are made to believe they are. This bothered me as I was raised to believe no-one is better than anyone else.
