Nobody is sticking around

I think I'm one of the longest-tenured associates in my store and I've been here a little over two years. The average these days is a few months. Every time I look at our page, there are several new "we're hiring for this or that" posts. Not that I can blame people. TLs here leave a lot to be desired, and that's putting it mildly.

I can’t argue with that. There are two reasons for this. First, Walmart offers a lousy pay even compared to its competitors, and second, the younger generations don’t have the habit of sticking around too long anywhere.

People don’t leave jobs. They leave their manager, bosses, leads or whatever
