My TL did me a solid
He fired me two weeks ago. He never liked me and he's been making my life a living he^l so I wasn't surprised at all when I got the news I was done. I don't have a new job yet but I'm so much happier regardless. I didn't even realize how stressed I was every day before work. I can sleep again. In the end, he did me a favor. I'm not going to thank him or anything, but I'm glad to be out of there.
Trust me, everything will turn out for the best.

I was in the same situation a couple of years ago, and reading your post I remembered the sense of relief when that happened. I also remembered the feelings of fear that followed. I found a new job within a month. All I can say to you is: no worries, you will find a new job soon,and looking at it long ter it’s better for you that you are no longer in a place where you’re not respected.
