I’ve been trying to save up some money lately and since the weather’s been nice and only going to get better, I’ve decided to start coming to work on a bicycle. I’m hearing too many stories every day about bikes getting stolen and I’ve been trying to park my bike in the office for the past few days. The problem is that some days it works but some days the manager just randomly decides it cannot happen and comes to me in the middle of my shift and says to get the bike out of the store but it literally doesn’t bother anyone and no one even notices it. Can I butter him up to let it be or should I just move on and try leaving somewhere else?
Dude an office isn’t a parking lot. Your bike is probably dirty and smelly and you’re trying to make it stay in an office where people spend their whole day trying to work in peace.
How can you be so sure if it's not bothering anyone? I think it bothers someone and that certain someone tells your manager, and your manager tells you.

Did you even try talking to him? Tell him that you feel scared leaving your bike outside and maybe he can offer you some different place to leave it that suits you both?? I hate it when people lack basic communication.
