"Let's start with the positives: the benefits. I gotta say, the insurance was pretty decent, especially for individuals. Even for families, it was manageable. Plus, most prescriptions only set me back a few dollars, which was a pleasant surprise. And don't get me started on the vision insurance at Walmart stores – it covered my glasses and contacts like a dream. But, and it's a big but, the work-life balance here is practically non-existent. I'm talking about routinely clocking in 10+ hours a week kind of non-existent. Management seems to have these unrealistic expectations of middle managers, constantly breathing down our necks and pushing us to work at an insane pace. And the cherry on top? We're always understaffed, which just adds insult to injury. Overall, it's a mixed bag. The benefits are nice, but if you value your personal time and sanity, you might want to think twice before diving into this retail giant's workforce."
