Is it common to be shuffled across various departments when you first join instead of focusing on the job you were hired to do? That's been happening to me in the last two weeks and it's annoying that just as I start to get the hang of things, I am sent to do something else in an area that has nothing to do with the job I was hired to do. It's annoying, to put it mildly.
Sadly, exactly the same thing is happening at my store. They have no idea what to do with me.

They've done that to me when I first started working, but I've been hired for a seasanal department (gardening). I got transfered later on, so I don't know if the same is still happening there.
