I'm not too slow
It's unreasonable to expect me to work as fast as two people. Literally, I cannot match their speed alone. This should be obvious to anybody with more than two functioning brain cells. Why my boss can't comprehend this is beyond me. I'm tempted to ask him to finish unloading the pallets for me to see if he can keep pace next time he tells me I'm too slow.
It doesn’t have anything to do with your speed or with the way you do things. It’s a school example of micromanagement. The reason they do this is to establish their dominance over you and to make you feel insecure. Take it from someone who’s been there, do things at your own pace and in the order you find fit and they'll eventually grow tired of giving you cr^p.
