I'm asking for just one day of not being understaffed
Is that really too much to ask for? One single day for me to focus on my job and my job alone. Just a single day of not having to run around like a headless chicken trying to be in four places at once because I'm expected to cover it all. Just one day. Please.
You are asking too much, LOL.
I doubt you can because that is the goal and the general idea of the leadership. Having the same amount of work done and being understaffed at the same time means less expenses. Mark my words, the moment you start feeling that your store is not understaffed is the moment you should be worried about potential layoffs.
Just don't do your job for one day. I doubt you will get fired.
