I would be very thankful not to work for Thanksigiving

how are you living through Thanksgiving day because I bought a bottle of wine immediately after I finished my shift and I don't think I need to tell you anything else. but I will because I have this urge to rant. IT'S LIKE WORKING WITH CHILDREN. I swear to GOD I would be more peaceful working in a kindergarten with 40 kids alone than having 3 customers on a holiday in a whole shift. at least kids would understand what you told them after saying something to them over and over for more than 5 times. I'M LIKE lady, THERE IS NOT MORE THESE IN THE STOCK, I am sorry your Thanksgiving meal is ruined, or should I say "cooked" hehe, but you should've thought about it on time and not on the Thanksgiving morning for fu^^s sake.

Retail on Thanksgiving is a nightmare. People expect miracles, and it’s always the ones who procrastinated that act like it’s your fault

So true. I mean sorry Karen, but the laws of physics don’t bend because you forgot cranberry sauce

It’s always the same people too. They act like Thanksgiving isn’t on the same day every year...

I feel this deep in my soul. I worked retail for years, and holidays always brought out the worst in people

Same. It’s like people forget how to be human once they see the words ‘limited stock.’

Sounds rough, maybe next time just focus on getting through the day and don’t let customers get under your skin

Honestly sounds like you’re overreacting. It’s part of the job to deal with difficult customers. and you really shouldn’t take it so personally
