Walmart is always making lots of money and how the people in charge seem to care more about that than about associates... It certainly seems that they just want their bonuses, and they don’t think about how hard it is for us when they decide to have layoffs. i mean, I bet they don’t enjoy laying people off either, but it seems like all they care about is making sure the shareholders are happy and the profits keep going up...
I guess it’s great that Walmart is doing well and all, but why doesn’t any of that extra money come to us? We hear about how well the company is doing, but that doesn’t mean we see any of that money. OK, good numbers, but where’s the appreciation for the people who actually do the work?
It feels like all of corporate America is like this, it's the AMERICAN WAY...
Sure it’s good for investors and people with lots of money, and it’s supposed to create jobs and stuff, but it VERY MUCH su^ks for us workers who don’t see any of those higher profits. It’s like they don’t even care about sharing the success with the people who make it happen.
If the main post came from someone that worked at Walmart for some time, I can only think that the poster is trying to be ironic. I’ve been here for 10 years and I know for a fact that we never got rewarded for the good results of the company. Even the taps on the shoulders and the attaboys were at rare occasions. I don’t expect anything to be different this time. In other words the only ones getting a raise, as usual, are the shareholders.
...and the C-suites
