I am on my tenth year with Walmart

I feel like I screwed myself over and got stuck in a dead end job. I'm 39 and I'm not sure I can do anything to change my future. Please somebody tell me it's possible to completely change your career and achieve success at this age?

IMHO, it's never too late to switch careers. If you're mind is set, you can do anything you want. I earned my BA at that age while working 40+ hpw, supporting both myself and my kid.

Why wouldn’t it be possible? You’re 39 not 69. You could have a 20+ year in another industry and still not be ready for retirement. If you’re unhappy where you are, polish your CV, hit the job market and don’t lose faith. Something better will come up.

Well, I wouldn’t say it’s too late for anything but you need to crystallize your ambitions and start working towards your goal. If you feel like you’re wasting your time, that’s good enough reason to leave.
