Having trouble coping

Working overnights for more than a year, and it's getting harder and harder with each day. I'm not sure if I can continue like this for much longer. Unfortunately, quittng is not an option. Do you have any advice for me?

Hang in there, buddy. I don't have a lot of handy tips to give (I'm not in overnights), but I've been in a similar situation. Try not to overwork yourself, and avoid stressing too much. Nothing is more important than your emotional well-being.

I think you need to assess the situation carefully; don't jump to conclusions. Everyone is right; your mental health should be your number one priority. When it's shaken, one needs to react quickly to get to the bottom of it. It could be a job, or it could be something else entirely. I was struggling at work a while ago, I changed roles twice before realizing that personal challenges were affecting my job, not the other way around. Once I addressed those, the work became far more manageable

sorry to hear you're having rough time with the overnight shifts. those can definitely be tough for most pepople, i cannot handle them at all but i am so sensitive to lack of sleep and i need to be in bed by 11pm or i'll hae a horrible day and it takes me a month to stabilize if my sleep patter gets messed up.... since quitting isn't an option, maybe try adjusting your routine outside of work? like, making sure your room is super dark and quiet during the day so you can get better sleep, or maybe finding time to relax and do stuff you enjoy to unwind. maybe talking to someone about how you're feeling could really help, like a friend or mentor/counselor if you have one, if you're really feeling down. hang in there and take care of yourself! 🌟
