Happy to be out

I took a $3/hour pay cut but I'm not even sorry. Money is not worth all the abuse I had to take at Walmart. I'm still in retail and it still su^ks but after just a week I can see that I'll be much better off mentally in the long run than if I had stayed. My honest advice to those who are in a similar position: take a pay cut. It's worth it. Your health is more important.

If you truly couldn't take it any more than $3 per hour less is not a big price to pay. Sure, you will feel a lack of money in that amount, but at least you won’t be unhappy. Also, this gives you an opportunity to search further and move on to something with better pay.

I walked out because I was tired of one associate making things up and getting me in trouble. Also there were 2 managers that harassed me for a year until I had a

Correct. Even a smaller pay will get you through the month and this move gives you the opportunity to look for something with better pay that’s not a shithole in which you can’t take it anymore.
