I don't know how to deal with a drunk customer because they are not in their right mind as you can tell. I don't know how to approach them or answer them if they ask me a question because I have no idea what their reaction will be you know? They might freak out about some sh^t that you don't even have anything to do with or maybe even hurt you or try to hurt you (we had cases like that) and that's why whenever I'm slightly concerned about if a customer is drunk, I get scared immediately.
I mean I'm good as long as they don't cause any drama
I think the store manager needs to step up in these situations immediately and make them leave the store asap. I don't want to be around a drunk customer for my own safety and I have a right to demand that
Thankfully that's what they do most of the time. Most store managers tl's or coaches are feeling responsible enough to do that and they should tbh.
