Don’t forget to care about your inner child

There’s this middle-aged lady that comes in once a week. She comes specifically to buy TOYS for HERSELF. Usually, she buys Barbies, but sometimes she also buys Legos. I know that she’s in fact buying for herself because she came up to me one time and asked ‘I’m looking for a blue-dressed Barbie’ and I helped her find it. After we found it, she thanked me and said ‘This will look great in my collection’. I was kinda surprised that she said something like this but anyway. A week passed and she was here again, looking for something. And I worked up the courage to ask her whether she was really buying this stuff for herself. She said yes. Apparently, she has a toy collection where she collected Barbie and Lego toys and she put them as accessories in her home. She showed me pictures of them and I can’t lie, I really liked them. I might start a Barbie collection on my own 😂 I don’t know what my husband will think about it but hey, he will adapt. I also asked her if she had a significant other and what they thought about it, she said she’s married and her husband is completely ok with it.
