Customers that expect of me a lot for a minimum wage

One of my biggest pet peeves is when customers put things in their cart, then change their mind and just throw the items on any random shelf when they decide they don’t want them anymore. It’s so ducking frustrating. You don’t just leave your stuff everywhere like that. It’s not my job to go around playing "hide and seek" with misplaced items. If you don’t want it, put it back in the right spot. It takes two seconds. What makes it worse is that I have to spend extra time walking around the store trying to find where everything belongs, all because someone couldn’t be bothered to make the extra effort. It’s not like I’m the only one dealing with it either other associates get stuck with it too but don't say it aloud like I just did.

I agree, it’s like people just assume we have nothing better to do than pick up after them.

People do tend to treat us like garbage, but hey, it takes one to recognize the other... :)
