Have you guys noticed that whenever two associates are having an argument in the store about anything, there is always at least 10 years of age difference between the two. I don’t know if it’s just my store or it’s just a coincidence that happened during the last 7-8 arguments that I witnessed in the store, but it’s a fact. Young people are coming in with their problems for the older guys 😀 The older guys complain that young people don’t work as hard as they do, and the younger people complain that the older guys all talk but don't walk.
It's not about the respect at my store just don't fu^k up my zone and everything will be fine between me and you.
I hate it the most when they play that boss sh^t on me. Just because you're older you don't get to tell me what should I do or how should I behave.
I mean it would be cool to listen to them if they were to approach us properly. With kindness I mean.
Because at the end of the day it's a fact that they are more experienced than us on daily sh^t that life throws your way whether it's work or family because they lived longer than us.
I get where you're coming from, but no. No one can give me advice other than my family. I'm good.
If they are more experienced than you in a job related situation, they sure can buddy. You're not a God, you can make mistakes and some senior people have a right to warn you about them.
Those senior people should be managers, not somebody who is 20 years older than me and still at the same level as me.
That's really disrespectful bro.
Sometimes those people who are 20 years older than you are also x number of years older than your manager and they surely have more experience than you and your manager combined.
Why do you have to take it too personal? Not everybody who warns you about a mistake you made is being disrespectful to you.
I don't know about y'all but that sh^t be too entertaining to watch 😂😂😂
Yeah when you're not a part of the argument that's happening

The problem with older people is (not just Walmart btw, I'm talking about the society as a whole) that they expect and demand respect from us no matter what. Even if they are the ones who are disrespectful, you just gotta be respectful to them. No sir, I'm good. Those who want respect, give respect.
