Walmart is the kind of job you get if you are out of options. The pay su^ks, there are no benefits, you're expected to do way too much for what you're paid, and you have to deal with horrible people every single day, and that's just off the top of my head. Stay as far away from here as you can (if you can).
Not that I think working at Walmart is the best job in the world or anything, but I can’t agree with you either. You claim that only people that don’t have a choice work here,and yet Walmart is the biggest employer in the US. So all of those people don’t have a choice, right? Working in retail generally is never a high profile job, but many people put food on the table that way and they spend many years at the company. My suggestion is, if you’re so unhappy, find another job and move on.
If you truly feel that way, then why don’t you create some options for yourself. Learn to code or something…
