Why is this allowed? Why is it okay to punish people by withholding hours from them? That's my livelihood. I can't pay my rent if I don't have enough hours. I made a small mistake, I apologized for it. It didn't cost the store or Walmart anything. Is there really a need to shave ten hours off my schedule for it?
Urgh, that's most definitely my No.1 reason for not missing my times as hourly.
So did you confront anyone about this? What do they say?
Why is this allowed? It's frustrating and unfair. Our hours are our livelihood. We depend on them to pay our bills and support our families. Making a small mistake should avoid losing hours. We're human; we all make mistakes and learn from them. It didn't hurt the store or Walmart, so why take away our hours and make it harder for us to make ends meet? This doesn't feel right.
