There's nothing wrong with working retail as a first job, at high school or when in search for a better job!!! Then you know it's not forever!!! but man it's my 5th year here and I'm 32!!! It's exhaustingly demotivating. How do long'term Walmart employees find anything positive to go through the day?!!!!
This is America, my friend. Why don’t you stop acting like you won’t find a job the minute you quit Walmart? You just don’t want to leave your comfort zone (which is the main reason I still work at Walmart) and you don’t want to admit it.
Yeah, you’re right, I can find a new job the minute I’m out of here but the pay won’t be the same. Walmart pays well when you compare it to other retail businesses. That’s why I don’t have an option.
It’s also my spending and budgeting problem I accept, but come on. The current state of the economy does not make my life any easier.
