I left Walmart a while ago but I was considering reapplying. I realized working four 10-hour shifts a week is much better than doing five eight-hour shifts somewhere else. It's been over two years, though, and I'm not sure if anything changed in that regard and if 10-hour shifts are still a thing. I'd truly appreciate any info.
I see you said that you worked at Walmart, but have you actually worked 10 hour shifts? That kind of schedule takes a toll on you. Despite having more days off, you’ll need extra time to recover from working such long hours, so I wouldn't look at that free time as quality time spent with your loved ones or anything like that. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
10h shift worked for me. When you put in 8 hours, the additional 2 hours usually fly by, so for me it wasn’t a big difference.

Yes they are, unless something has changed very recently. I work 5 8s now, but used to work 4 10s at my old store. I've changed stores 3mo ago or so when I moved in with my boyfriend.
