Another perspective

Something that nobody ever highlights when talking about their job at Walmart is how much responsibility we have. It’s close to none. It is a pretty chill job and you don’t really have to break a single drop of sweat all day. You show up on time, do the same daily chores that you have done for the previous 9999 days, you come back home and enjoy the rest of your day. There’s no dreading coming to work every morning and there is no need for thinking about the job in the non-working hours. It is a very relaxing experience where you can make decent money without any larger difficulties.

I think it’s just a matter of perspective. You can make everything in life look hard, just like you can make it look easy. A lot of our anxiety comes from just being scared of some things happening, whilst only a small part comes from the mentioned things actually happening.

It is easy for you to say when you don’t need the money to survive. It is easy for you to say when you don’t have a million other problems waiting for you the moment you step back into your home. Some people just respect their jobs here too much unlike you.
