You need to know when to get sick

One of my coworkers almost got fired because he caught the flu. The issue wasn’t that he got sick, but that it wasn’t a 'good time for the store.' He barely avoided getting fired, thank God. So yeah, lesson learned: you need to know when it’s 'acceptable' to get sick. Apparently, you’re not allowed to get sick unless you’ve been with the company long enough.
