How do I tell my team lead that he is not funny? When I was watching The Office, I enjoyed Michael’s silliness but I don’t want a real life version of him around me. I don’t want to be rude because he is a nice person but he’s just not funny. And he is not a quitter either. He keeps coming back with his corny jokes until we fake a giggle then he moves on to his next victim. It’s just painful.
Then he obsessively asks if anything is wrong. He doesn’t believe me when I tell him no. He’s just so convinced that his joke is too funny, that it HAS to make me laugh. If it doesn’t, then there’s something wrong with me, not with the joke.
Does he ever stfu? 🤦♂️

Not laughing at his jokes seems to be the best solution.
