Why is everybody so unhappy

Recently people have been depressed as he^l. Whenever I run into a walmart associate or talk with a customer it's not the same as before. People are extra unhappy and I don't know why.

I think people aren't socializing as they did before. Everybody is so focused on saving money that they have no time or money to spend with their loved ones.

Everything is going bad all at once. Politics are very tense, sports are not the same as they used to be, GTA 6 is still not there and your favorite rapper don't have any plans to drop a single or an album so there is nothing that an average associate can look forward to. It's just ping pong between home and the store.
